The Start of Kosi Cat 16CC

The story started way back in 1993 when the late Jerry Govender, of old Jurgenscraft fame, started making a mould in some spare space at Bill Harrison‘s old shop.
By 2000 the very first Kosi cat 16 CC was born. A round tunnel hull for good off-shore performance, with good stern flotation.
The point of making this boat was to have an excellent handling of off-shore fishing craft, entry-level, well priced and easy to launch & tow. All these points were achieved. 200 of these boats were then sold.
